Our Programs

Our programs are designed to show the importance of science, technology, and nature in our lives through hands on interactive and fun activities.

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers we are pleased to offer most of our programs free of charge. We are committed to the idea that interactive hands-on science, taught by people who love science and have probably made science their career, is the best way to bring science to life. We also try to encourage more young people to pursue a career in science and technology.

Our programs include:

Scientists & Engineers-in-the-Classroom

Experts from the scientific community volunteer their time to deliver the very popular Scientists & Engineers-in-the-Classroom program.

Coming from a diverse cross-section of the scientific community, our presenters volunteer thier time to be in your classroom to provide fun, interactive, and hands-on science presentations to thousands of students each year.

Ask-a-Scientist

Our Ask-a-Scientist program is designed to open up a dialogue between students, educators, and members of the scientific community.

Classroom kits

Science resource kits which will predominantly be used by teachers in classrooms. These are available to borrow free of charge for a 2 week loan period. The kits include scientific equipment, full instructions and lesson plans, supporting materials and additional information for topics linked to the science curriculum.
