Looking for new and innovative ways to get your students excited about science?

The Edmonton Science Outreach Network is delighted to be hosting a series of science workshops for grade 1-9 teachers during our fall 2011 Science Symposium, November 1-3.

Each evening symposium will have teachers participating in three curriculum connected 75 minute workshops with dinner and refreshments included! These workshops will inspire you with a range of exciting, hands-on activities and practical ideas for use in your classroom including ready to use lesson plans, and the materials to implement them. The evening is a great way to network and is an excellent addition to your teacher professional growth plan.

Division 1: Tuesday, Nov. 1, 4:30 – 9pm
Division 2: Wednesday, Nov. 2, 4:30 – 9pm
Division 3: Thursday, Nov. 3, 4:30 – 9pm

Location: Grant MacEwan University – City Centre Campus

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we can offer a reduced registration fee of $45 (reduced student teacher fee $25). Your registration includes 3 workshops, dinner, dessert & refreshments - plus free underground parking!
